We could not do it without you!

Volunteers are an integral part of what we do here at Loaves & Fishes. From helping out in the dining room to praying for those in need. If you are interested in volunteering, please click HERE. to fill out our Volunteer Form. The following are areas where volunteers are always welcome and needed:

• SPIRITUAL NEEDS

KITCHEN AND DINING ROOM

SERVERS AT MEALS (Breakfast Mon-Fri at 7:00am; Lunch on Sat at 11:30am; Dinner Mon & Wed at 5:00pm)

1. Need to be here 30 minutes prior to meal.
2. Involves serving food that is already prepared, setting up to serve, and cleaning up after the meal. Total time approx. 1 1/2 hours.
3. We encourage you to pray for opportunities to share your faith in Jesus Christ in one-on-one situations.

BREAKFAST PREPARERS Please come in at 5:30 to start breakfast. Servers, from 6:30am - 7:30am. CLEANERS People who can come in to do kitchen cleaning anytime (9:00am to 4:00pm, Mon - Fri

FAMILY MINISTRY-SHELTER

DRIVERS Drive families to appointments.

PLAYROOM VOLUNTEERS Help supervise children aged 1 - 5 years (1:00 - 4:00pm, Mon - Fri)

TYPING MISC. OFFICE WORK

ASSTS. TO HELP HOUSE MANAGER (8:00am - 3:30pm, Mon - Fri )

FAMILY MINISTRY-TRANSITIONAL HOUSING

DRIVERS Drive families to appointments.

WORKERS FOR YARD AND HOUSE MAINTAINENCE

CHURCHES TO JOIN PROGRAM

1. Provide a representative to work with one household in conjunction with our case manager and representatives from other churches.
2. Support the household by contributing $150 per month to be used in paying the rent, utilities insurance and maintainence.
3. Help keep house and grounds maintainence.

INTERCESSORS TO PRAY FOR EACH HOME

Intercessors to pray one hour/day in chapel at Loaves & Fishes.

Intercessors for the neighborhoods bordered on the So. by Cervanres St, No. by Maxwell St, East by Bayou Texar, and West by "A" St.
