“Let us not become weary in doing good,…”(Galatians 6:9)
I don’t know how we did it, but we did it. Two-hundred Christmas dinners, full of turkey, dressing, casseroles and desserts served in forty-five minutes. That included a talent show put on by some of our guests, complete with dance moves and all! It was a celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior. Jesus truly is the reason for the season.
We now move into a brand new year. Full of opportunities to share the love of God, both in the word and deed. In all the areas of ministry of Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen, the Soup Kitchen, the Emergency Family Shelter, our Transitional Housing Program for families with children, the after-school program, our Thrift Store, and our ministry to elderly homeless men (Simeon House), we trust the Lord to provide, as He has for the past thirty some odd years. Millions of meals served, tens of thousands have heard the Good News of God’s love, and thousands have been clothed and sheltered.
Thank you for all of your help in making this happen. We pray you will continue to be a part of God’s work as we reach out to the “least of these”. Please know you are in our prayers and we thank you for praying for us. May you have a blessed new year.
Peace in Yeshua,
Rick
